The best word to describe Kate and Doug’s Washington, DC wedding is epic. From the marathon day to the gorgeous November weather. From Kate and Doug’s never-ending energy, smiles and warmth to the way they seem to have a blast whether dancing in the middle of a dazzling reception full of friends and family, or basking alone in the sunset with no one else around but myself. This is the kind of couple that welcomes you into their lives and truly makes you feel like you have known them forever. It was a joy to document Kate and Doug’s wedding and I wish them a lifetime of love. Thank you also to the always wonderful Joe Brier from The Happy Couple Wedding Photography for the opportunity to work side by side and play. From Holy Trinity in Georgetown, to The Kennedy Center and off to Meridian House, we rocked it out! Following are my favorites from the day: enjoy!

Oh, and did I mention that this awesome couple decided to make a super last-minute booze run to Costco in between their ceremony and reception? In full wedding attire? At about 5pm on a Saturday afternoon? Yeah, it was amazing.
Such a cool wedding & you captured it beautifully!!!
