Mike and Kayla tied the knot at the charming Briar Patch B&B Inn in Middleburg, Va. The rain forced them to opt for an indoor ceremony, but they were great sports and their team filled the indoor space with all of the details of lace and candles and a beautiful arch that the couple had taken so much care to prepare. The change of plans was quickly forgotten as the ceremony began and the sweet, magnetic energy between Mike and Kayla filled the room along with all of their guests. Luckily, the rain cleared enough for me to steal the couple away for some photo fun around the Briar Patch, during which Mike and Kayla won my heart when they readily accepted my proposal of them walking through a idyllic, though very wet, field of yellow flowers. Their easy attitude never failed throughout the day, even when a rather large black snake decided to invite himself to the wedding. The celebration went on, snake or no snake, and Mike helped keep the party going by joining the band, The Jangling Reinharts, and rocking out. Much love to Mike and Kayla and following are my favorites from the day. Enjoy!
